The effiQueenc motorized ball valve unit consists of an on/off actuator and an EFFI-V2SS series ball valve… (2-WAY) and/or EFFI-V3SS series ball valve… (3-WAY). Its features include a compact design, stable operation, excellent water shut-off capacity, high water flow, zero dirt block, and low torque. effiQueenc motorized ball valves are widely used in HVAC systems, heating systems, cooling systems, and some industrial equipment.

Operation

The effiQueenc motorized ball valve is powered by an EFFI-ACT24VAC actuator. A modulating on/off control system controls the actuator by sending a command signal to move the ball valve to the open position.

The actuator is controlled by a modulating on/off control signal that uses a reversible synchronous motor and a speed reducer to set and lock.

Installation

Insert the valve stem at the bottom of the actuator and insert the 2 pins at the bottom of the actuator into the valve mounting holes. Then screw in the brass nut. Be sure to move the actuator head to the position indicated based on the desired configuration. (Open or closed if powered or not).


2-Way valve

When the actuator head is positioned lengthwise (see image in Configuration #1), it allows liquid to flow through when the brown wire is energized.

3-Way valve

When the actuator head in positioned widthwise (see image Configuration #1), it allows liquid to flow straight through when the brown wire is not energized.

  • The BROWN wire is the control wire:
  • If the BROWN wire is energized, the actuator rotates counterclockwise.
  • If the BROWN wire is not energized, the actuator rotates clockwise.
  • The RED wire is always connected to the LINE feed wire (L or R). Transformer 24VAC 60Hz power supply.
  • The BLACK wire is connected to NEUTRAL (C). 24 VAC 60Hz transformer power supply.
  • The GREEN wire (NO). Dry contact.
  • The ORANGE wire (NC). Dry contact.
  • The YELLOW wire (COM). For dry contact.

Can only be used as ON/OFF type.
